Kids & Family

The major medium through which kids learn is play. If that holds true, we got just what the teacher ordered. We hit every angle within the arts and sciences to provide the youth an opportunity to build, discover, explore, in order to create this magical adventure at Bloktoberfest.

Motion

We are adding a few bounce houses to help expel some energy, thanks to Rumble Tumble Bounce House. Let's face it, the kids will be filled with excitement. This pit stop is a must, especially for those who learn best through movement.

Visual

The Voices Jr. mural project is back to capture the children's collective attention as they splash creativity all over the canvas. Thinking outside the box and painting outside the lines are not only permissible, but they are outright encouraged.

Body Art

Challenge to Change returns to ink up the skin with this beautiful form of body art: expect geometric patterns and intricate images (Henna tattoos) to show off to your friends: meanwhile, Gymkana Blue showcases your inner rock star providing punk rock hairstyles and vibrant colors to liven up the mojo.

S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Clarke University returns to put on multiple demonstrations and presentations to stimulate the curiosities and wonders inside a child's inquisitive mind. We heard through the grapevine that there maybe a V.R. (virtual reality) expo in the 7 Hills Event Center. Creative Adventure Lab returns to deliver their mobile play lab featuring foam blocks, lego blocks, and architectural planks.

In addition to these wonderful stations, you will find a dunk tank, balloon twisters, music, fire truck, and more.
